May we say that significant effort was put into the new x64 version of the product, which included replacing a number of basis functionalities, such as Navigational database engine, 2D panel graphics engine, network and interfacing - to enable them to function and take the full advantage of the 64 bit platform.

Current owners of the 32 bit editions of the Q400 will get significant discounts in getting the new versions. In particular: 14.95 euros for the PILOT x64 edition, and 19.95 euros for the PRO x64 edition of the Q400.
